Life Before Gastric Sleeve
I have struggled with my weigh for a very long time. I was in boarding school and, we used to go for sports, and I would feel sluggish.the shorts didn't fit me like the other girls, things like that. but when I got to 13, is when it really became a problem.It was until, around form three they did a random pregnancy test in our school. They used to do it most girls schools do that just to check if there is anyone who is pregnant. And because of my weight, they called me aside.And then this doctor went on to just touch my stomach and check really what's going on. And he said you're good. It's just that you're overweight. I was around 80kg as a 17 year old, and I was very conscious after that.From that time, it became super conscious I’d go to the field alone when guys were having dinner and I would go and do sit ups, I’d try run. I was trying to do things just to lose weight as a teenager, and it's never happened for me.I remember over dressing, wearing too many clothes. Too baggy clothes. My esteem was down under because of this weight issue.....

I was not sleepingI was on sleep, medication.I was on high blood pressure medication So you can imagine having not take any of that anymore And I'm sleeping.Well, my clothes fit a bit.in a better state of mind.It's the best gift.The only regret I have about this procedure is not doing it sooner. And I know most people say this, you know, it's to see, like, oh, whatever, man. But honestly, honestly, yeah.If I knew what I know now and I could at that time, maybe the first time I came here, I would have done it. But then again, I believe in God's timing because the first time I came in for consultation, this whole thing, we planned the whole thing.
