How does it Work?
We use a physiological solution for bowel irrigation, which is a solution of salts that is isotonic with tissue fluids or blood. You will drink warm, saline water that will pass through your digestive tract without being absorbed. While navigating the digestive system, this solution will gently, smoothly and naturally stimulate the peristaltic of the bowel and in about 45 minutes you will experience the urge to pass stool.
By the end of the procedure, in approximately 2 hours, you will pass clear water from the bowel. This means that the water you drank passed through your whole digestive system and that is it! Your digestion can start from a fresh.
Where is it done?
We have a comfortable, self-contained room set aside specifically for Bowel Irrigation. For the procedure, all you need to do is drink 200ml of warm saline water in 5 minute intervals. While conducting the procedure, feel free to be busy with something: like reading a magazine, doing some exercises, working on your computer or just enjoying a show on TV!

What preparation do I need to do prior embarking on a bowel irrigation treatment programme?
We will provide you with an easy to follow dietary regime to best prepare you for the treatment. No fasting is necessary prior to a treatment, and the few dietary adjustments we recommend will greatly enhance the programme’s results.
What should I do immediately before a session?
It is advisable to refrain from eating or drinking anything two hours prior to your scheduled appointment. This is to avoid feelings of nausea, as well as ensuring maximum comfort during your Bowel irrigation session.
What can I expect from Bowel Irrigation?
Bowel irrigation is not a cure, but a valuable procedure used to assist, the body for a wide variety of different colon-related conditions. By re-toning the bowel wall and improving colon functions, the entire body is able to function more efficiently.
