Life Before Gastric Balloon
Post-Lockdown, I really struggled to get back to my more active, healthier (and frankly less heavy) self, and I had been hitting a brick wall. The scale and inches were simply NOT moving! I had always been that child who was a little bit bigger than her friends, honestly i think I lacked discipline from that age and my weight begun to pile and pile and I got heavier. So my struggle with weight loss had been concurrent, I think I got to a place where I was inspired by the fact that I really just wanted to be healthier.

My journey started in February 2023. I lost over 10kgs in 2 months and wow things were starting to move I finally started feeling like I am in control again! 6 months down the line, clothes started fitting and this was supper exciting for me. The other biggest achievement was my a change of mindset and my relationship with food also improved a lot and that was wonderful.The experience had a great impact on me not only physically but also mentally, I feel so energized and ready for the next challenge.
