Life Before Gastric Bypass
Before I came to Nairobi Bariatric Center , I was 170kgs. I was suffering from asthma, pressure and I sadly could not take ten steps without feeling so much pain and strain on my body. I was extremely obese and I decided this is what I wanted for my family and for me.

Life after Gastric Bypass
In June 17th 2021, I went for surgery with 151 kgs . 2 months post-surgery I had lost 21kgs, I kept coming for reviews and keeping to my nutritionists and doctors instructions. Something else that I found very important was psychotherapy, I believe this two go very well together and helped me loose weight accordingly.
I lost 44kgs in 8 months and now 53kgs in two years . I will never regret this decision, how can I regret when I am growing younger and younger. Now I can walk up the stairs , I used to be on so many medications, pressure medication and now it is all gone. I take my multivitamins and still go for my reviews. I am happy with this decision.
